UtahRedRocks Has a New Home

For many years, I’ve shared stories and photos here on UtahRedRocks, hoping to inspire others to explore this incredible corner of the American Southwest. What began with the red rock canyons of Utah eventually grew into wanderings across the Great Basin, Mojave, and Sonoran deserts. Along the way, I’ve found endless beauty - and I’ve loved helping others discover how to experience these places both wisely and safely.

Looking back, I realize the desert has shaped nearly every chapter of my life since that first visit almost 40 years ago. These days, I like to call my perspective seeing the world through My Desert Lens. That phrase has become the name of my new blog, where I’m continuing to share stories, photos, and reflections. Nothing too profound - just some of my favorite moments in the desert, old and new. If something I post there inspires even one more person to get outside and explore, that’s a win in my book.
